International Admissions (IAO)


Have questions about your application? Learn how to complete your application as an international student. You can also chat with an international recruiter or admissions analyst.

Spring International Language Center (SILC)


SILC is a professional academic organization that provides English language training and cross-cultural education. The University of Arkansas offers conditional admission to applicants who meet all academic and financial requirements, but not the English proficiency.

Activate your UARK account and create a password to access email, campus networks, Blackboard Learn and other university online services.

Check Your Email

 

Office 365 Outlook is the official email and calendaring service for students, faculty and staff. Check your email on the web with Outlook Online or using the Outlook app. Learn more about student email accounts.

Campus Card Office

 

The Campus Card Office produces the official University of Arkansas ID card. This card is used for identification as a university campus member, security access, enrollment verification, meal plan access, and Razorbuck$ to purchase goods and services.

ID Card for Online Students


An online student can obtain a University of Arkansas student ID card from the Campus Card Office after verifying his/her identity through ProctorU. This is a service for students who want a card, not a requirement.

Once admitted you will need to start your pre-arrival checklist by logging into issLink. Please follow the instructions to prepare for your arrival to campus and orientation. Enrollment in classes will take place on campus after you arrive.

International Students and Scholars (ISS)


The office of International Students and Scholars will assist you in your pre-arrival arrangements and hosts international student orientation. ISS will also assist you in maintaining your immigration status through on-line chat, individual advising appointments, and immigration workshops.

Syllabus Bank


Make informed decisions about which courses to enroll in next semester. After logging in, students can search faculty-submitted syllabi from previous and current semesters to review assignments, exam schedules, attendance policies, reading lists and other course information.

Schedule of Classes

When to Register

 

Undergraduate students and transfer students are identified by their current class standing for the purpose of advanced registration. Advanced registration is for current graduate, undergraduate, law, ag law, and readmitted students.

Blackboard is a tool that allows faculty to add resources for students to access online.

Academic Advising (undergraduate)

Academic advising is an active, ongoing exchange between the advisers and students, grounded in teaching and learning. Advising is based on students gaining accurate and appropriate information and direction to help make their educational experience relevant, coherent, and meaningful.

Bookstore

The University of Arkansas bookstore provides textbook purchase, rentals and textbook buybacks. You can search for textbooks by course on the bookstore website.

Offices of Career Connections

The Career Development Center provides services to distance education students. Skilled staff work with students to help them transition into the workplace. The center works with students with employers and alumni and provides tools to help students be competitive in the job market.

Center for Educational Access

The Center for Educational Access (CEA) serves as the central campus resource for helping students with disabilities obtain the accommodations they need for equal access to classroom activity.

Pat Walker Health Center

The Pat Walker Health Center provides professional and comprehensive medical care, mental health care, health education and health promotion for a diverse community of students, faculty and staff.

Libraries

The library system of the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, comprises the David W. Mullins Library and four branch libraries: the Robert A. and Vivian Young Law Library, the Fine Arts Library, the Chemistry and Biochemistry Library, and the Physics Library.

LinkedIn Learning Online Tutorials

University of Arkansas students, faculty and staff have free, unlimited access to LinkedIn Learning (formerly Lynda.com), an online library of high-quality instructional videos on the latest software tools and skills. Log in with an organization account using your @uark.edu email account information.

On-Campus Student Insurance

Information about student health insurance, insurance requirements for international students, and insurance waivers are available at the Pat Walker Health Center which is a part of the Division of Student Affairs.

Online Student Health Insurance

Students in an online program are not eligible for the university’s student health insurance plan. However, you may shop for and enroll in a plan through the online marketplace edusure.com.

Responsible Conduct of Research

The Office of Research Compliance (RSCP), a unit of the Office of the Vice Provost for Research and Economic Development, is responsible for assisting faculty, staff and students in complying with federal and state regulatory requirements for sponsored and unsponsored research and with the associated University policies.

Registered Student Organizations (RSOs)

RSOs provide students the opportunity to form and develop organizations based on a common interest. Students are able to create, govern, budget and plan their own organization and events.

Veteran and Military-Affiliated Student Center

The Veterans Resource and Information Center serves as the central point of contact for prospective or current University of Arkansas student veterans needing assistance with the admissions process, applying for military educational benefits and scholarships, and referrals to various academic departments around campus.

Campus Safety

The University Police Department offers several services to our students: 24-hour campus patrol, crime prevention programs, women’s self-defense, Razorback patrol escort services, daily crime logs, and motorist assists.
